Arcola High School Principal Fighting Cancer
On the Arcola Jr/Sr. High Facebook page it was announced Lisa Sigrist, Arcola High School Principal is battling cancer. Mrs. Sigrist is a former teacher at Arthur High School.“As many of you already know our principal Lisa Sigrist has recently been diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called Neuroendocrine cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer has also spread to her liver and lungs. After several weeks and many appointments, she will be starting very aggressive chemo treatments.
Mrs. Sigrist is in overall good health and continues to stay positive. She is a fighter and with the support and prayers of our community we are confident that she will overcome this. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.“
