PIG OUT IN ATWOOD

If someone had said to you lets go “Pig Out” on Friday evening or Saturday, Aug. 21 or 22, in downtown Atwood, you could have done just that. The picture above shows the long line waiting for some delicious food from Pig Out Concessions of Maroa. The Atwood Chamber of Commerce organized a small event for people to get out and enjoy themselves for a short period of time. There were also some unique vendor booths. This was in conjunction with the blood mobile being in town on Aug. 23 from the Community Blood Services. It would be nice if something like this could be held in maybe October, just to give people a little break. Thank You Atwood Chamber for bringing a little life back into our small town.
