Cerro Gordo Welcomes New Teachers. The Cerro Gordo School District faculty returned to school for Teacher’s Institute on Thursday and Friday of last week. First day of classes for the student’s was Monday, August 17. Pictured are the 2020-2021 school year new teacher’s that include Amanda Roberts, First Grade, Millikin and Southwest Baptist; Colleen Beavers, Speech Language Pathologist, Eastern Illinois University and St. Louis University; Amy Winchester, Fifth Grade, Millikin University; Mary Um, Music, University of Illinois; Megan Meade, High School Ag, Western Illinois University; James Vogel, Seventh Grade & High School Math, Quincy University; Adrianna Laskowski, Fourth Grade, Millikin; Cassie MccLeery, Family Consumer Science, Eastern Illinois University; and Jared Schonert, High School Social Studies, Eastern Illinois University. They are ready to get the new year underway and look forward to meeting the students.
