Laura M. Postlewait Wiese, 91, of Mattoon, formerly of Tuscola, passed away at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home, Mattoon, IL

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Celebration of Life Services to be held at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Roger Wood officiating.

Burial will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

Laura was born on January 11, 1929 in Champaign County, IL, the daughter of Delbert and Sarah Amanda Foltz. She married Alex Postlewait in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1980. She then married Alton Wiese. He preceded her in death in 2009, they were married for 25 years.

Survivors include her sons: Danny (Shirley) Postlewait of Tuscola, Richard Postlewait of Charleston, Lee (Carol) Postlewait of Atwood, Jack (Debbie) Postlewait of Tuscola, Alex (Patty) Postlewait of Riddle, OR, and Tom (Roxanne) Postlewait of Hindsboro, daughters: Susan Colon of Tuscola, Gail Johnson of Tuscola and Jeanette (Frank) Utz of North Zulch, TX, brother: Raymond (Jenna) Foltz of Pesotum, sisters: Jeanette Fourman of Champaign and Shirley Ann Ellis of Homosassa, FL, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Marshall, Eddie and Delbert Foltz and sister: Nancy Hull.

Laura was a homemaker. She and her first husband operated Mel’s Drive-In Restaurant in Tuscola for several years.
