Atwood-Hammond Public Library Curb Side Service Begins June 2

Patrons are welcome to phone in orders for books, movies, and books on CD. The library catalog is available for online orders. Atwood-Hammond Public Library items will only be available to order at this time. Inter-library loan requests will be available beginning July 6.

Once the library receives your requests, your library materials will be checked out to you and placed in a clean bag. You will be notified by phone when your library materials are ready for curb side pick-up and assigned a time span for pick-up.

Pick-up will be in front of the library building. When you arrive your bag of library materials will be brought out and set on the boulevard for you to pick-up.

If you need assistance, library staff will set your bag in your vehicle. Please specify assistance needed when you are notified for pick-up.

Library materials will have the standard due dates. Books and CDs are 14 days and movies are a 2 day loan.

To return your items, please place them back in the bag and return them to the library foyer. The foyer will be open Monday through Friday, 10-2 pm; Tuesday and Thursday evening, 5-7 pm; and Saturday morning 10-12 pm. Please limit 1 person in the foyer at any time.

You are also welcome to place your library books in the return box on the boulevard. Movies and CDs should be returned to the foyer in a bag.

Curb side pick-up will be available until further notice. A tentative date for limited library access is July 7, dependent on Covid-19 conditions and local safety concerns.

All returned library materials will be quarantined for 3 days and cleaned before they will be available for check-out.
