Teonna Brinkley Named Bement High School Student of the Month
Teonna Brinkley was honored as Bement High School April Student of the Month.
Hillary Bragg, high school teacher, commented, “Teonna is an amazing young lady. She was part of the work program and worked at the Bement Health Care Center until the shutdown due to COVID-19. She has a huge heart for the residents and takes initiative when something needs to be done. She loved working at the care center. During remote learning, she has been on top of all her assignments, asking questions whenever she didn’t understand or just checking to make sure she was doing work correctly. She has helped her younger sisters throughout the remote learning time and has been a huge help to her entire family. Throughout the last four years, Teonna has matured into such a responsible individual and has a bright future ahead of her.” Teonna is the daughter of Herbert Brinkley and Sherry Brinkley.
The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement. Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school.
