Bement High School Graduation Ceremony

Bement High School will recognize the Class of 2020 in a modified graduation ceremony on Friday, May 22.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the modified graduation ceremony will only include a maximum of four family members and their graduate.

Each graduate will be presented with their high school diploma individually.

Valedictorian/Salutatorian speeches and scholarship presentations will be pre-recorded and made into a virtual ceremony that will be shared in its entirety at a later date.

A “Parade of Graduates” will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 22. Families and community members may congratulate and support the graduates while practicing social distancing from individual vehicles and/or from homes along the parade route.

The parade will begin in the student parking lot on the east side of the high school.

The parade route, from the student parking lot, will be as follows: south on Champaign Street, right on William Street, right on Piatt Street, left on Bodman Street, right on Highway 105, right on Sprague Street, right on Piatt Street, left on Pine Street, left on Champaign Street back to the student parking lot.
