Atwood American Legion Auxiliary Receives New Sign

The Atwood American Legion Auxiliary to James Reeder Post #770 had a problem for the March blood bank, their sign was no longer usable.

In order to keep the public aware of their blood drive, the Atwood Chamber of Commerce offered the sign on the highway for them to use. They normally use the large sign located at Main and Forest Streets.

John Brandenburg worked with Joe Mills and Joe came up with a new design for a sign and the sign was donated to the auxiliary by Trunkline, where both of them are employed. The blank space under the time will be used as the date changes each time. The date of the next blood bank will be Thursday, June 25. The new sign will be displayed in the holder on Main, however their information will also be on the chamber sign.

The auxiliary would like to express a special thank you to John and Joe and Trunkline for their generosity. This new sign will be used for many years to come.
