Red Cross Community Blood Drive May 7 in Arthur

An American Red Cross blood drive (sponsored by the Arthur Ministerial Association and the Arthur Lions Club) will be held in the community on Thursday, May 7, from 1-6 pm at the Arthur United Methodist Church fellowship hall.

This drive has been approved by the Douglas County Health Department.

The Red Cross is still in need of blood during this time and the following safety precautions will be followed during this drive.

Everyone will be required to wear a mask, temperatures will be taken before donors enter the room, no additional guests or children will be able to enter, and the Red Cross is asking all donors to call and/or register this time instead of just walking in.

Please do not come if you are not feeling well or have other symptoms. Walk-ins will not be turned away but a limited number of people will be allowed at each time.

You can make an appointment online at redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
