Myla Oye’s special 1st Birthday

Myla Oye’s special 1st Birthday. Friday, April 17 was a very special day for Myla Oye as she turned one-year old. Pictured with her dad and mom, Charlie and Casey Oye, she was treated to a parade complete with lights, sirens, and the Happy Birthday song over the loud speaker. Led by the Arthur Fire Department, there were over 35 cars, trucks and even a semi along with her grandparents and many neighbors who stood in their front yards as the birthday processional passed by on Union Street. Myla’s front yard was decorated with balloon’s, presents including a mini John Deere Dune Buggy and a busy ball play table, and huge cut-out letters (in pink of course) that said “Myla Is 1”. The Arthur Fire Department is bringing some extra cheer to any child that has a birthday during the Shelter-In-Place order in these unprecedented times due to COVID-19.
