Jesse William “Bill” Clemons, Jr.

Jesse William “Bill” Clemons, Jr. passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 in Decatur. He was 85.

Mr. Clemons was born December 24, 1934, to his parents, Olga “Peg” and Jesse Clemons. He married Rachel “Geretta” Phillips.

Surviving are his sons, Brian (Nanette) Clemons of Decatur, Kirby (Janet) Clemons of Arthur; five grandchildren, Josh (Michelle) Clemons of Bloomington, Brynn (Bryan) Kickle of Decatur, Emily (Fred )Engimann of Plainfield, Erin Clemons of Haleiwa, HI and Kaci (Matt) Sullivan of Oconomowac, WI; seven great-grandchildren, Lilli, Lydia and Lucy Clemons of Bloomington, Drew, Isaac and Genevieve Walker of Plainfield, and Judd Sullivan of Oconomowoc, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and his wife.

Bill was a talented percussionist, gifted artist and spent many years involved in the IHSA Track and Field as a Starter.

Private family services are pending.
